Terroir and Cuvée Overview: Bricco delle Viole (Barolo DOCG)
Bricco delle Viole is the highest historic cru in the Barolo municipality. Situated on a south-facing promontory at an altitude of approximately 400 meters and bordered by the Alps to the west, this terroir benefits from large temperature fluctuations between day and night. These unique climatic conditions allow the Nebbiolo grape to develop complex aromas of violet, black cherry, licorice, and truffle, supported by a tannic structure of great nobility.
2013 Vintage Overview
Considered by specialists to be a classic and masterful vintage in Barolo, 2013 offered a cool season and perfect late maturity. The 2013 wines are characterized by a supreme balance between vibrant acidity, dense yet very fine tannins, and exceptional aging potential.

Food & Wine Pairings and Serving Suggestions
Serving suggestions: Ideally serve at 16°C-17°C. Decanting or letting the bottle breathe in a carafe for 1 to 2 hours before serving is highly recommended to allow the Nebbiolo to release its full aromatic palette.
Gastronomic pairings: This great Barolo will sublimely accompany tajarin with Alba white truffles, herb-roasted lamb, Milanese osso buco, porcini mushroom risotto, or beef Rossini fillet.
