Collection: Volnay
Located in Côte de Beaune, the Volnay appellation covers approximately 215 hectares, exclusively dedicated to Pinot Noir. Known for its elegant, fine and delicate red wines, Volnay stands out for its style, which is the opposite of the power of neighboring Pommard. The clay-limestone soils, lighter and rich in pebbles, favor the production of wines with floral aromas (violet, rose) and small red fruits (strawberry, cherry).
Volnay does not have any Grands Crus but has 29 climates classified as Premier Cru, covering approximately 115 hectares. Among the emblematic names are Les Caillerets, Clos des Chênes, and Champans, recognized for their refinement and long aging potential.
