The company "Château André Ziltener" was founded in 1968 by Klaus-Dieter Ziltener.

The 2010 vintage was an absolute success throughout Burgundy. The particularly low yields, the highly concentrated aromas of the berries, and the perfect balance of sugar and acidity produced great wines for aging.

It is said that to know the true value of Volnay, you must own vines in Cailleret. This perfectly sums up this 1er cru, ideally located mid-slope, on gentle, marly, and stony hillsides. This terroir is the jewel of the appellation, planted entirely with Pinot Noir.
