Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo "Tre Tine" 2013: The Inviolable Art of Traditional Piedmontese Blending
Cuvée Presentation: The Story of a Traditional Resistance
The Giuseppe Rinaldi Estate embodies the most authentic and poetic soul of Barolo. The "Tre Tine" cuvée was born from an act of love and resistance to Piedmontese tradition. In 2010, the establishment of the MGAs (Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive) prohibited two vineyard names from appearing on the same label, threatening the historic "Cannubi San Lorenzo-Ravera" cuvée. Refusing the dictation of a single parcel to preserve the perfect harmony born from the marriage of terroirs, Beppe Rinaldi created the name "Tre Tine" in homage to the three truncated wooden vats (the tine in Piedmontese dialect) in which three exceptional crus are vinified separately: Cannubi San Lorenzo, Ravera, and Le Coste. A wine of pure tradition, vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged for a long time in large Slavonian oak barrels.
2013 Vintage: The Magnificence of a Great Classicism
The 2013 vintage is celebrated by all Langhe connoisseurs as one of the most beautiful classic successes of the 21st century. Thanks to a cool season, slow maturation, and a late season bathed in light, the Nebbiolo achieved a perfect balance of acidic tension, concentration of matter, and noble tannins. The Tre Tine 2013 expresses striking aromatic purity, combined with phenomenal verticality and aging potential.

Aromatic Profile and Food Pairings
On the nose, the wine expresses fascinating complexity and aerial finesse: faded rose petal, morello cherry, undergrowth, soft tar, dried orange peel, black tea, and truffle. On the palate, the attack is very straightforward. The matter is deep, supported by a chiseled tannic framework and a vibrant freshness that stretch the finish towards mineral and spicy notes. Purchase this exceptional bottle to accompany agnolotti del plin with meat jus, Piedmontese fritto misto, Barolo-braised beef cheek, or rack of veal with chanterelles.
