Presentation of the Benedictine house
Created in Fécamp, Normandy, Bénédictine is a liqueur made according to a secret recipe composed of 27 plants and spices. Its origins date back to the 16th century. By the end of the 19th century, the Bénédictine house had developed a strong visual identity and become an emblem of French expertise in high-end liqueurs.
Presentation of the B&B vintage (Bénédictine & Brandy)
The "B&B" cuvée, a contraction of Bénédictine & Brandy, was created in the 1930s for the American market, where connoisseurs often blended the two spirits themselves. This official version combines Bénédictine liqueur with a quality French brandy, creating a refined balance between the richness of the botanicals and the woody structure of the brandy. A dry liqueur, more subtle and complex than Bénédictine alone.
Bottle presentation – 1970s
This bottle comes from a batch bottled in the 1970s. It features the typography and design characteristic of that era: yellow and black label, seal embossed on the glass, "Le Directeur AAG" written on it, dry and intact capsule. 70cl bottle at 40% vol, in perfect condition. Impeccable level, label intact despite its age.
Condition of the bottle
Excellent overall condition. Perfect level, clean and legible label, intact capsule. Ideal for collecting or tasting.
