Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" 1989 - Domaine Pinson

The Pinson family's winemaking history in Chablis dates back to the 17th century. The estate has evolved a lot since then, of course, particularly with the successive arrivals of brothers Laurent and Christophe Pinson in 1983 and 1987. A family history that continues today since Charlène, Laurent's daughter, joined the estate in 2008.
The estate has expanded since 1982, going from 4 to 14 hectares and numerous modernization works were undertaken in the mid-2000s.

They have been awarded several medals for Chablis wines, including the Gold Medal for the 2015 vintage of this cuvée: Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos".

Here we present to you an old bottle of this same vintage from 1989.

The 80s produced some very fine vintages in general in Chablis, the 4 to remember in particular are 81, 82, 83 and 89.
