Presentation of the Henri Perrot-Minot estate

A family estate located in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the Côte de Nuits region. Established in 1963, this estate was transferred to Henri Perrot-Minot in 1993. Managed using sustainable farming methods with a meticulous plot-by-plot approach, the estate quickly became a leading name in Burgundy. Renowned for its fine, precise, and elegant wines, the style combines Burgundian rigor with contemporary purity.

Presentation of the vintage and the appellation "La Combe d'Orveau"

La Combe d'Orveau takes its name from its particularly privileged location. Positioned just above the Musigny Grand Cru (no less), Orveau, or "Vaux d'Or," faces south and southeast. Its soils are stony and rich in marl and limestone.

Surface area: very small, considered one of the most beautiful plots in Chambolle.

Vinification: partial destemming, fermentation in wooden vats, aging for 18 months in barrels, 50% of which are new.

Tasting notes (2001 vintage): ruby color, nose of black cherry, dried flowers and a hint of spice. Structured but fine palate, melted tannins.

Critical Rating (Burghound): 89-92 points.

Presentation of the 2001 vintage

A balanced vintage in Burgundy, marked by good freshness. The harvest was early, with healthy grapes and good acidity. The 2001 red wines are now mature, elegant, refined, and still well-structured.
