Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru "Les Chatelots" 2000 - Domaine Anne and Hervé Sigaut

The wines of Domaine Sigaut need no introduction. All of the house's vintages are aged in only 25% new oak. The goal is to allow the terroir to express itself above all else. The estate's vintages all benefit from excellent aging potential. It is strongly recommended not to drink them before aging for at least five years.

The plot of only 0.5ha of the 1er cru "Les Chatelots" is located in the heart of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation

This bottle has been kept in the same cellar since its acquisition at the estate. The cap disappeared for an unknown reason. Perhaps the darkness of the cellar bothered it. The cork, which can be seen through the transparent glass, clearly authenticates the vintage.

Don't wait too long to treat yourself to this very large bottle, I'm not sure I'll be able to hold back from tasting it for very long.
