Chambolle-Musigny 2012 Old Vines - Lignier-Michelot

Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the great terroirs of Burgundy, on the Route des Grands Crus, the Lignier-Michelot family estate has existed for three generations and extends over 12 hectares divided into around sixty plots among the best climates of the Côte de Nuits in Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin, Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-St-Georges.

Today, Laure and Virgile run the estate, taking great care in working the soil to promote biodiversity and the typical characteristics of the great Burgundy terroirs. Virgile intervenes minimally in the cellar to ensure the purity and deliciousness of the wines.

The vines used for this Chambolle-Musigny vintage are over 60 years old and are located on the Draseys and Gammaire plots, in the north of the appellation.

6000 bottles are vinified with 70 to 80% whole harvests.

You will taste a deep wine with lovely tannins.
