Lanson Noble Cuvée Rosé Brut - A Lost Rarity

The Pinnacle of Lanson Art: The Noble Cuvée Rosé is no longer simply a great Champagne, it is now a collector's item. Absent from the House's current ranges, this cuvée represented the pinnacle of Lanson's expertise, pushing the demands for freshness and structure to their absolute limit.

A Prestigious Blend (Grand Crus)

Beneath its sparkling robe, this Noble Cuvée hides a blend of surgical precision, sourced from the noblest terroirs of Champagne:

  • Chardonnay (approx. 55-60%): From the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Oger), it brings delicacy, finesse and an exceptional aging capacity.
  • Pinot Noir (approx. 40-45%): Sourced from the renowned terroirs of Verzenay and Bouzy for structure and vinosity.
  • Bouzy Red Wine: Approximately 7% still red wine is added to the blend to give it its delicate color and aromatic depth.

The Lanson Signature: 0% Malolactic Fermentation

What makes this wine unique is Maison Lanson's long-standing refusal to use malolactic fermentation. This method preserves the natural acidity and original purity of the fruit. The result? A rosé of incredible tension that defies aging, retaining a spring-like freshness even after extended maturation.

Disgorgement 11/2019: Optimal Maturity

Disgorged in November 2019, this bottle benefited from over six years of cellar aging after this crucial step. This period of adjustment allowed the wine to integrate its vibrant acidity into a rich and complex structure. The late disgorgement guarantees exceptionally fine bubbles and perfectly developed aromas.

Bottle Storage and Condition

Despite being bottled in clear glass (traditional for this range), this bottle has been preserved from any "light-struck" taste thanks to rigorous storage in the total darkness of a humid cellar. The color has remained perfectly clear and bright. While the label shows signs of wear and a few stains from its extended stay in the cellar, it remains perfectly legible. The fill level and capsule are impeccable.
