Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy. Located at the Château de Beaune, it boasts an exceptional vineyard, including several hectares of Grands Crus. Vintage and appellation:
La Chapelle-Chambertin is one of the nine red Grands Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin. This climat, located just below Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, produces wines of great finesse, less powerful than Chambertin but remarkably subtle. This 1992 is a rare expression of a confidential terroir, dominated by floral and spicy notes and a silky texture.

Vintage:
The 1992 vintage, sometimes overshadowed by its more renowned neighbors, produced balanced wines with moderate maturity and fine tannins. This Chapelle-Chambertin is now reaching its peak, revealing complexity, a fine acidity, and length.
