Chateau Camensac 2001 - Haut-Médoc

A very typical Médoc wine thanks to its high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. Powerful, full-bodied, and woody tannins. It has significant aging potential.

The 2001 vintage is one of the finest achievements for this château, which, in a blind tasting, could outclass much more highly rated references.

"The color is an intense, dark red. The nose is very expressive. It presents aromas of fruit, such as prune and cherry, joined by scents of white flowers and a delicate toasted touch upon aeration. Sculpted for a great future, this wine immediately imposes its powerful structure with tight tannins that remain firm for some time. Very persistent, it leaves a thirst-quenching and sappy sensation."
