Dominique Laurent, a former pastry chef who has become one of Burgundy's most renowned micro-negociants, has made a name for himself with selections of old vines and precise maturation in new barrels. A master of detail, he creates rare and unique vintages, always produced in small batches.

Vintage and appellation:
This Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru comes from the Lavaux Saint-Jacques climate, one of the most sought-after in the appellation. Located just at the entrance to the valley, this terroir benefits from ideal conditions: a northeast orientation preserving freshness, stony and well-drained soils, and a perfect altitude to produce racy, deep and structured wines.

Vintage:
The often underestimated 1997 vintage produced delicious, supple, and silky wines that are now perfectly mature. Here, it reveals an accessible, expressive, and fully mature Lavaux Saint-Jacques.

State of conservation:
Two bottles available in excellent overall condition. Slightly stained labels, perfect levels. Wine stored in optimal conditions.
