Domaine André Ziltener is located in Chambolle-Musigny, Burgundy. Founded in the 1990s by a Swiss investor with a passion for wine, the estate cultivates several plots in the Côte de Nuits region. It produces its wines in a former outbuilding of Cîteaux Abbey, combining Burgundian tradition with Swiss rigor.

The "Les Fonteny" climat is a Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, located in the north of the Côte de Nuits, on clay-limestone soils rich in marl. The Gevrey-Chambertin appellation covers approximately 400 hectares, including nearly 90 hectares in Premier Cru. The wine is vinified from destemmed bunches and aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months. This 1998 is a distinguished Pinot Noir, with aromas of undergrowth, black cherry, and licorice.
