Presentation of the Hermitage La Chapelle vintage
Hermitage is a prestigious AOC in the northern Rhône Valley, located on the left bank of the Rhône. The vineyard covers approximately 130 hectares with granite and clay-limestone soils, ideal for Syrah. The "La Chapelle" cuvée comes from the finest terroirs of Hermitage, including Les Bessards, Greffieux, and Méal. Aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months. The 1995 vintage was rated 94/100 by Robert Parker. A concentrated, complex wine with notes of blackcurrant, leather, pepper, and garrigue. It will keep well.
