The quality of La Conseillante wines is well established. This château is undoubtedly one of the top five in the Pomerol appellation.

This wine belongs to the "we are never disappointed with them" club. The style is very pure, velvety and silky, with time the aromas evolve towards truffle, violet and mocha.

Like the nearby Château La Violette, this Pomerol develops notes of violet as it ages. This characteristic has inspired the color of the capsule since 1871.

Tasting Advice: On paper, the 1990 vintage of La Conseillante is a little less powerful than the 1989 vintage. But what can you do? 1990 has a special charm that makes it irresistible. Open it at least 3 hours before tasting or decant it for an hour.
