This castle belonged to the Constant family, owners of Clinet, before being bought by the Moueix family in 1950.
The estate began its expansion in 1994 after acquiring 4 hectares of vines from Chateau Le Gay. It borders the Petrus and Lafleur estates. The Moueix family owns Trotanoy, Lagrange, Latour, and Dominus, among others, in Napa Valley.
