Presentation of the domain:
La Mission Haut-Brion is a wine estate located in Pessac, in the Graves. The estate was established in the 16th century and has been producing top quality wines for over 400 years. With an area of 21 hectares, La Mission Haut-Brion is considered one of the smallest estates in the Bordeaux region. While it is a little less illustrious than its neighbor "Le Château Haut-Brion" it is nonetheless a favorite among connoisseurs.
Presentation of the vintage:
La Mission Haut-Brion 1996 is a dry red wine produced from grapes harvested on the Pessac-Léognan terroir. The vintage is made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grape varieties. This vintage is the result of a meticulous blend, carried out by the cellar masters of La Mission Haut-Brion.
