Château Lynch Bages 2002 - 5th grand cru classé of Pauillac (Only and it's a scandal!)

At WUAT Christophe has always had a great love for Lynch Bages. It is indeed with this wine that the passion was born. We do not joke with Lynch!

Lynch has always embodied Pauillac in its purest style. Powerful and very difficult to taste in its young years, it becomes magnificent and unique with age.

The 2002 vintage was quite "complicated" for the Bordeaux vineyard. The rainy and overcast summer led to very low yields. Fortunately, the Indian summer allowed for good ripening of the grapes and perfect sanitary conditions. The harvest took place between September 30 and October 15.

A vintage sometimes forgotten in the midst of exceptional years, Lynch-Bages 2002 is fleshy, ample and charming.
