Marquis de Terme 2014 - Fourth growth of Margaux

Château Marquis de Terme is the estate's first wine. The grapes are grown on 39 hectares of thick gravel rich in quartz and quartzite. This allows the Cabernet Sauvignon, the dominant grape variety, to give its best. It makes up 60% of the cuvée, complemented by Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Do you know where the name of the Margaux appellation comes from? From the Gaulish "margan," meaning "marly." The Margaux terroir is exceptional and boasts the largest number of Grands Crus Classés thanks to its particularly well-drained soils, allowing vines to root up to 5 meters, ensuring they are well-fed even in dry periods.

The wine is aged in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months. This skillful process is designed to create fine, elegant, balanced, and thoroughly modern wines.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Roasted

Palate: Smooth, charming and harmonious

Finish: Spicy

WUAT's Review: If you're looking for a Margaux with an excellent price/pleasure ratio, go for it! This wine will suit any occasion, whether it's a tasting among wine lovers or a family meal. It's sure to please all your guests without any risk.
