Located south of the Meursault appellation, the "Les Charmes" climat is one of the most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. It is known for producing rich, smooth wines with great aromatic finesse. This exceptional terroir, on clay-limestone soil, produces generous Meursault wines, perfect for aging.

The 2001 vintage in Burgundy produced well-balanced whites, combining freshness and maturity. On the great terroirs, the wines proved elegant and expressive, with a beautiful acidity that promotes longevity. Today, the finest bottles are perfectly mature.

Condition of conservation

Bottle in excellent condition: perfect level, label very slightly stained but intact, impeccable capsule.

WUAT Note: Burgundy Chardonnays from the 1990-2010 period are quite unpredictable. Signs of oxidation can occur, even in the finest wines from the finest houses. We try to offer only wines with a clear, unaltered color and known storage conditions. But all these precautions don't always allow us to avoid unpleasant surprises. This, along with cork taint, is the burden of wine lovers.
