The "Guimaraens" brand was created for certain prestigious vintages, expressing a more accessible but still refined style, while retaining the estate's DNA: balance, complexity, and longevity.

The 20-year-old Tawnys are blends of wines aged in barrels for two decades, developing a unique aromatic palette. Fonseca's offers a classic expression of the house style: rich, silky, with notes of dried fruit, caramel, and spice. Probably bottled around 2002, this bottle exhibits all the attributes of a great Port for aging, while offering great accessibility now.

This type of Port is not vintage but results from a clever blend of wines aged around 20 years, all bottled probably around 2002, as the capsule elements suggest. Since no back label is visible and the label is very damaged, we base our decision on experience and consistency with other similar vintages.

Label heavily damaged but still legible; capsule in good condition; level perfect; bottle perfectly preserved. The wine is visibly clear, and the color indicates excellent development.
