Dominique Laurent, an atypical figure in Burgundy, established himself in the 1990s as a highly precise winemaker. He rigorously selects old vines and favors long aging in new, high-quality barrels, often without fining or filtration. Each vintage is produced in very limited quantities and embodies a personal vision of the terroir.

Vintage and appellation:
This Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru comes from the "Les Beaux Monts" climate, one of the most famous in the appellation. Located between the "Suchots" and "Brûlées" climates, on a well-exposed mid-slope, this terroir produces fine, aromatic, and distinguished wines, driven by silky tannins and great depth.

Vintage:
1996 is a classic Burgundy vintage, characterized by beautiful acidity and a fine structure. The wines gain in elegance with age.

State of conservation:
Bottle in very good overall condition. Slightly low level (top of neck). Stained label. Capsule and glass perfectly clean.
