Founded in 1838 in Aÿ, the Deutz estate is one of the oldest in Champagne. It is currently managed by Fabrice Rosset. It cultivates over 42 hectares and also sources its wines from partner winegrowers, primarily Premiers and Grands Crus. Deutz is renowned for its straightforward, elegant, and distinguished style.
Presentation of the William Deutz vintage
Cuvée William Deutz is the house's prestige cuvée, produced only in the finest vintages. The 2008 edition is composed of 65% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 5% Meunier. It has aged nearly 10 years on its lees. This vintage offers a complex bouquet of citrus, dried fruit, white flowers, and brioche. It has received excellent critical acclaim: 96/100 Wine Spectator, 18/20 RVF. A refined and structured gastronomic champagne.
